2018 Atlanta Golf Outing Raises Over $90K

Fall 2018 | Atlanta

This past spring, Posse Atlanta’s sixth annual Golf Outing raised nearly $92,000 to support the program and Scholars.

Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, participants and individual donors, the total marks a 34 percent increase from the previous year. High turnout also made for an enjoyable day of friendly competition at the Atlanta Country Club, a breathtaking championship course.

Special thanks to the 2018 Golf Outing Committee, Chair Carl Peoples of Goldman Sachs, and Posse Atlanta’s loyal sponsors. Foursome hosts included Karin and Phil Pead, Georgia Power Company, Holder Construction Company, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Deloitte, EY, Goldman Sachs and Infor. New supporters included Transaction Network Services, Elavon, The Intersect Group, Opus Consulting Solutions, Priority Payment Systems and Discover. Posse Atlanta is grateful to Mercedes-Benz USA for providing in-kind support.

For the first time, this year’s event featured a women’s golf clinic led by volunteer instructors Shane Crutchfield and Tara Flickinger. The Golf Outing was followed by a cocktail reception for golfers and friends, who learned more about Posse and had the opportunity to speak with alumni guests.
