Deloitte Exec Strengthens Partnership with Posse

As vice chairman and regional managing partner at Deloitte, a leading professional services organization, Henry Phillips knows the value of equity and inclusion in the workforce.

In his current capacity at Deloitte, Henry oversees the quality, growth, marketplace and talent initiatives for more than 12,000 Deloitte professionals in nine Northeastern states. As chair of the Posse New York Advisory Board, a role he assumed in 2012, he is building on and deepening Deloitte’s already substantial investments in Posse. 

As part of its commitment to diversity, Deloitte has invested nearly $150,000 in Posse programs since 2009 and currently provides internships and other career-enhancing opportunities for Posse Scholars as a Career Program partner. In addition, Deloitte regularly donates space for Posse trainings and events, including the New York Awards Ceremony in January of this year.

Henry is passionate about leadership and identifies with Posse’s commitment to developing the next generation of leaders.

“I think great leaders build trust, give clear direction, empower others and value accountability–all things that Posse cultivates in its Scholars,” Henry says.

Born and raised in Michigan, Henry lives in Connecticut with his wife, Erin, and their five children.
