Disney Studios Hosts Career Panel for Scholars, Alumni

In January, The Walt Disney Studios opened its doors to 30 Posse Scholars and alumni interested in fields such as accounting, human resources, law and animation. A panel of six professionals shared career advice and fielded questions.

“Being able to visit the Walt Disney Studios and meet executives was such a privilege and encouraging experience," says Bucknell University Posse Scholar Anthony Gomez. "The innovative environment that the company has developed is one that I would like to hopefully be a part of as an intern this summer.”

The panel was spearheaded by Taylor Massey, a senior talent development consultant, and Edwin Belen, the executive director of accounting and a longtime Posse supporter and volunteer. During the session, Edwin expressed his appreciation for the exceptional Scholars he met through Posse. The Walt Disney Studios has supported the Posse Career Program for more than five years, hiring more than 15 Scholars for internships and one recent college graduate for a full-time position.
