Google Hosts Scholars
In April, Google, a Posse Career Program partner, hosted 15 Pre-Collegiate Training Scholars at their office in Venice, California. Scholars spent the day learning from Google staff about personal branding and professional networking.
Kevin O’Brien spoke to Scholars about his career growth in advertising and sales at Google and introduced them to the Google Bold Immersion Program, an internship program for college freshman to expose them to careers at Google. An alumnus of the program, Kevin shared the importance of the internship and encouraged Scholars to consider applying next year.
Scholars also toured the Google offices, learning about the company’s philosophy of open work spaces and collaboration within and between teams.
“I was really impressed by Google’s commitment to their employees,” says Scholar Max Vinson. “I would love the opportunity to work here in the future.”
