Google Leads as Posse Supporter in Career Program, Posse Consulting, and Beyond
Since 2011, Google has provided extraordinary financial and in-kind support for the Posse program. The global technology leader’s contributions to Posse have totaled more than $1.7 million. The company has also employed Posse Consulting services for its internal diversity, equity and inclusion programs since 2019.
In 2013, Google awarded Posse a Global Impact Award with an accompanying $1.2 million grant to help launch the Posse Veterans Program, which connects post-9/11 U.S. veterans to top institutions of higher education. Since then, more than 230 veterans have been selected for the opportunity.
Google is a Posse Career Program partner, collaborating to offer opportunities to current Scholars and alumni. The company has hosted many Posse Scholars as interns, including in the Google Building Opportunities for Leadership & Development (BOLD) Program. Posse alumni have gone on to become Google employees in roles that have included account strategists, recruiters, software engineers and more.

Google/Alphabet Vice President and Treasurer Juan Rajlin has been a member of the Posse National Board of Directors since 2016, and currently serves as the board’s treasurer. Posse advisory board members include Google Chief Diversity Officer Melonie Parker (Posse Bay Area), Global Director of Product Curriculum Jennifer Wesley (Posse Chicago) and Director of Measurement & Analytics David Kaul (Posse New York).

In recent years, Google has hosted Posse events at its offices in San Francisco and New York, including Career Program events and large group interviews of students nominated for the award as part of Posse’s unique screening method, the Dynamic Assessment Process.
