Houston’s Deloitte Impact Day Prepares Scholars with Business Dynamics

Every year, Deloitte celebrates their commitment to local communities during Deloitte Impact Day, a day dedicated to volunteering.

This year, Posse’s long-standing partnership with Deloitte was honored locally in Houston with a workshop for Scholars. The full day of programming was specifically designed as a space for students to explore business dynamics.

Scholars worked alongside Deloitte professionals through a series of workshops and case studies. In one exercise, participants learned about their own individual working styles with the help of Deloitte’s Business Chemistry methods, which provides insight into how employees can best utilize individual styles within the workplace.

Scholars applied what they learned about their individual business approach in a mock case study exercise. Teams took turns presenting to a panel for professional feedback. The studies allowed Scholars an opportunity to explore the thinking processes of people working on real-life issues.

Deloitte professionals also collaborated with Scholars on activities focusing on building personal and professional networks.
