Kroger Becomes Career Program Partner
Kroger, one of the world’s largest retailers and recently recognized by Forbes as the most generous company in America, is the latest company to sign on as a Posse Career Program partner.
“We are so excited for this new opportunity that will continue to empower our Scholars to grow and become leaders in the workforce,” says Posse Houston Director Kamari Brewer.
Beginning in the summer of 2015, Kroger will consider Posse Scholars for competitive internship opportunities that will help them grow as professionals and expose them to potential career paths.
In addition to providing internship connections, Posse’s Career Program also offers Scholars invaluable networking and mentoring opportunities. Career coaching, a new initiative, pairs prominent leaders from all sectors of the community with Scholars to provide support, advice and mentoring.
