Leadership Council Grows, New Members Bring Diverse Industry Perspective

Winter 2022 | Boston

Posse Boston added five new members to its Leadership Council in 2021: Kevin Bielke, Director, CG&E Performance Solutions at Google; Josh Mandel-Brehm, CEO of CAMP4 Therapeutics; Mneesha Nhata, Senior Vice President, Legal & Chief Sustainability Officer at American Tower; and Posse alumni Flavian Brown, Senior Scientist at Jnana Therapeutics; and Julisa Salas, Chief of Staff at Toast.

The Posse Boston Leadership Council focuses on building partnerships for the Boston site and securing career-enhancing opportunities for Scholars. The newest members represent industries ranging from technology to biotechnology and beyond, bringing a range of professional experiences that will strengthen the scope of the network and opportunities available to Scholars and alumni.

“Being a part of the Leadership Council has given me a forum to give back to the broader Posse community.”

Posse alumna Julisa Salas says her own time as a Scholar at Middlebury College made her eager to now return to become a council member.

“Being a part of The Posse Foundation was a life-changing experience,” Julisa says. “It helped me think about the resources and the ‘posses’ that I would need to be a part of or build to be successful—not only in college, but in grad school and in a work environment. Being a part of the Leadership Council has given me a forum to give back to the broader Posse community. I look forward to working with the council to broaden Posse Boston’s scope and reach.”

Mneesha Nhata of American Tower shared her own reasoning for getting involved with Posse.

“I am excited to serve in this role because the Posse mission deeply resonates with me,” Mneesha says. “As the daughter of immigrants, I understand the benefits of having a strong support system to propel you to achieve greater successes. From high school through college and beyond, Posse’s programming effectively develops the leaders of tomorrow.”
