Marketing CEO Joins Chicago Advisory Board

Posse Chicago’s newest advisory board member Michon Ellis is the CEO and managing partner at LimeGreen, an award-winning multi-media video production and events management company. Prior to LimeGreen, Michon spent nearly eight years leading highly successful marketing campaigns for the McDonald's Corporation, becoming the company's first African-American director of global marketing communications. 

Michon first learned about Posse by attending Posse Chicago’s annual Power of 10 event last fall. There he met many Posse alumni and was impressed by their stories and backgrounds.

“The Posse story is one I can relate to,” says Michon, who considers his college football teammates as his own posse. “During the critical years of college, I was fortunate enough to have teammates who didn’t let me quit.”

Michon is excited to join a diverse group of industry leaders who are focused and committed to the issue of promoting access and equity in education and in the workforce.

“I love the fact that there are chapters opening in other cities where they are are needed,” says Michon. “I look forward to being a part of the national movement.”
