Nominations Triple for Franklin & Marshall STEM Posse
The Miami community is poised to contribute a second STEM Posse to Franklin & Marshall College. This year Posse Miami received over 170 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) nominations from local public high schools and community-based organizations, more than tripling the previous year’s count.
The talent of these nominated students was evident throughout the Dynamic Assessment Process (DAP), Posse’s unique method for assessing student potential. Their creativity and leadership are sure indications that Miami’s STEM Posse will continue to break boundaries and excel.
In addition, Posse Miami received 1,100 nominations for its traditional Posse programs at Hamilton College, Mount Holyoke College and Syracuse University.
Posse Miami wishes to thank all of the high schools and organizations that nominated students as well as its incredible partner colleges and universities for the many ways they support the program.
