Power of 10 Honors Tamika Tremaglio of Deloitte
In October, Posse D.C. hosted its 10th annual Power of 10 fundraiser at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C.
The event, which raised more than $170,000, honored Greater Washington Managing Principal Tamika Tremaglio of Deloitte for her commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. Deloitte is a longstanding Career Program partner and corporate sponsor of The Posse Foundation.
“At Deloitte, we believe leadership development, diversity and community service are not only key drivers of innovation, but also central to the success of our business,” Tamika said. “Thanks to partners like The Posse Foundation, we are able to make real commitments to college readiness and diversity, as well as inclusion within our firm.”
In her remarks, she also recognized Posse alumni who work at Deloitte, known internally as “dPosse”.
“They bring passion, creativity and leadership to the workplace every day,” she said. “I am confident that our Posse alums will be the next generation of CEOs, CFOs and entrepreneurs.”
Eun Yang, anchor at NBC4 Washington, returned as the emcee of the event. She introduced Posse Alumnus Ahmed Elnaiem, who spoke about how Posse recognized his potential and supported him in his journey from Bucknell University to Harvard Medical School.
“In my moments of self-doubt, Posse’s belief in me drives me to demand the best of myself,” Ahmed said. “Posse has pushed me to dream big and instilled the confidence I need to see my dreams come to fruition.”
Posse D.C. is grateful to the generous donors and supporters who invest in our Scholars and alumni.
