VP for Enrollment Cultivates Posse Community
As vice president for enrollment, the dean of admission, and Posse liaison at Mount Holyoke College, Diane Anci strives to serve the college’s mission to enroll intellectually curious, diverse leaders who will graduate as thoughtful, engaged citizens of the world.
The all-women liberal arts institution has selected five Posses from Miami, the first of which graduated this past spring.
“There is no question that Posse’s core values are very much aligned with Mount Holyoke’s,” says Diane. “Both institutions are famous for graduating individuals who will absolutely contribute to the greater good and make a difference in the world. Both value diversity, access and inclusion and are committed to the development of extraordinary leaders.”
Diane has built her admissions career at Mount Holyoke over the past 24 years after discovering a passion for the work as an undergraduate admissions intern at Wheaton College. She worked at Barnard College for two years prior to joining Mount Holyoke.
“Diane knows Mount Holyoke inside and out,” says Posse Chief Operating Officer Matthew Fasciano. “Her stewardship has resulted in a strong partnership and a robust campus program where our Scholars are well supported and can flourish.”
With a strong team mobilized to support Scholars, Diane works to cultivate a network that serves the college as much as it serves the students.
“I want Posse to benefit Mount Holyoke above and beyond the extraordinary Scholars we enroll each year,” says Diane. “We think about what we have learned from supporting Scholars and how using similar concepts can help support other cohorts of students. Posse is the gift that keeps on giving.”
