WarnerMedia Contributes $100K, Supports Career Program
Posse Career Program partner WarnerMedia has contributed $100,000 in support to the Foundation, becoming a 2021 Leadership Sponsor. The American multinational media corporation—a leader in entertainment, news, and sports brands—is a longtime Posse sponsor, offering generous funding over the years to Posse’s national operations and program sites in Atlanta, D.C., Los Angeles and New York.
“The students we encounter from Posse embody those traits we want to see our future workforce—dedication, passion, ingenuity and resilience.”
WarnerMedia VP Corporate Social Responsibility Betsy Holland
As a Career Program partner, WarnerMedia offers internships and full-time employment opportunities to Posse Scholars and alumni. Employees from WarnerMedia have also contributed to Posse as committed volunteers, participating as career coaches and at local Posse Career Day events.
“Whenever we involve WarnerMedia employees with The Posse Foundation—whether it’s volunteering during the DAP process or managing an intern—the employees come back positively glowing about the experience,” says WarnerMedia VP Corporate Social Responsibility Betsy Holland. “The students we encounter from Posse embody those traits we want to see our future workforce—dedication, passion, ingenuity and resilience. I couldn’t be prouder of our company’s long history supporting Posse; for every dollar we’ve invested with the organization, we’ve been exponentially rewarded with connecting these amazing students with our business.”
Two WarnerMedia executives currently serve on local Posse advisory boards: Rick Dascher, Vice President, Creative Services, WarnerMedia Studios (Posse Atlanta Advisory Board); and Kevin Fortson, SVP, Production, Warner Horizon Television (Posse Los Angeles Advisory Board).
“Big thanks to WarnerMedia for its considerable investments in the program and the students we serve.”

“We are so grateful to WarnerMedia, first of all, for the wonderful people who serve on our boards and their very generous support,” says Posse President and Founder Deborah Bial. “The company’s extraordinary contributions—of funding, career opportunities, volunteers, video production and other in-kind support—have been invaluable to our growth and success.
